ELIGIBILITY

All-new cars and bikes launched in India between January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025 are eligible to enter if they meet the following criteria:

• Launched = Entire Price List revealed, test drives done, bookings open)
• *Atleast 2 out of 3 conditions are met for upgrades:

        A) New platform

        B) New powertrain

        C) New exterior/bodystyle design

• For 2W visual updates are acceptable

CATEGORIES/SEGMENTS

• Decided basis final shortlist
• For a category to be valid there should be atleast two nominees
• A vehicle can be nominated in multiple categories
• Viewers’ choice winners are selected through online poll on carandbike.com
• Special citation awards are basis editorial feedback and will have no nominees or jury inputs
• All segment winners (including citation winners but excluding design award winner) will be eligible for Jury’s overall car/bike of the year selection

DESIGN

For design awards, a three-member design expert panel will choose a top 5 picks

The respective car/bike jury will then pick a final winner from the respective top 5
