About Harley-Davidson Road King
Harley-Davidson re-introduced the Road King motorcycle in the Indian market and the bike becomes one of the two bikes under Harley's touring range. The bike is a part of Project Rushmore which is a marketing strategy for launching the most number of new motorcycles in Harley-Davidson’s history.
The Road King comes equipped with a lot of features and considering the time spent making the bike is seen in the way the end product turns out to be. It gets a big round headlamp with dual fog lamps, there’s badging on the fender and the tank looks artistic and matches the bulky proportions of the bike.
There’s a tank-mounted instrument cluster and the chrome around it gives it a sporty, yet classic feel. The bike comes with ABS and air-adjustable suspension, which comes as part of standard equipment. Powering the Road King is an air-cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 engine which transfers the power to the rear wheel via a belt drive. The Road King is being sold in India takes the CBU route.
