The Mahindra XUV300 is the name of the automaker's all-new subcompact SUV and while images and the production name were revealed a few days ago, the car is yet to make its public debut. Now, ahead of its launch early next year, the Mahindra XUV300 has been spotted in the open at what seems to be an ad shoot. The new images give a better understanding of what to expect from the upcoming sub 4-metre SUV. Interestingly, you can also see the baby XUV300 share space with the XUV500, showcasing the similarities.

Renault Kwid EV Starts Testing In China
French car maker Renault has commenced testing the Kwid electric version in international markets. The Renault Kwid EV was spotted testing in China as per the latest spy images emerged online, which is also likely to be one of the first markets to get the electric hatchback. At the Paris Motor Show earlier this year, Renault had showcased the K-ZE concept, which was essentially the Kwid based EV. The test mule looks identical to the concept complete with the massive grille and light clusters.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has achieved a new milestone becoming the fastest manufacturer in the industry to cross the 40 million sales mark. The two-wheeler maker managed to achieve the stupendous number in a span of 18 years, backed by the strong demand for its scooter range. The volumes have only grown tremendously in recent times with the last 20 million customers joining Honda family in the previous four years. In contrast, the company gained its first 10 million customers in 11 years, followed by the next 10 million in the following three years.

KTM 790 Duke Bookings Open At Dealerships In India
KTM dealerships across the country have commenced accepting bookings for the 790 Duke street-fighter. The KTM 790 Duke can be booked at a token amount of Rs. 30,000 at select outlets while deliveries have been promised in the first half of 2019. KTM India though is officially yet to announce the bookings or launch details of what will be its new flagship motorcycle in the country. The KTM line-up has been stagnant for a while now with the only big update being the 2017 Dukes and RCs being launched and more recently the KTM 125 Duke going on sale. The new 790 will add some fire to the Austrian stable in India, and also a worthy offering for those looking to upgrade within the orange family.

Tata Motors And Zoomcar Partner To Rent Tata Tigor Electric Vehicles
After supplying electric vehicles to the government, Tata Motors has now partnered with self-drive rental company Zoomcar and will be offering 500 Tata Tigor electric vehicles. The Tigor EVs are being supplied for operations only in Pune for now. The first batch of the Tata Tigor electric vehicles were flagged off at a ceremony in Pune at the automaker's dealership. The rental company plans to reach out to 20 cities with the 500 Tata electric cars by next year. Tata Motors produces the Tigor EVs at the company's facility at Sanand, Gujarat and has been supplying the same to EESL.

Michael Schumacher Isn't Bedridden Anymore, Claims New Report
A horrific skiing accident left Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher bedridden in 2013, and his condition for the longest time was closely guarded by friends and family. However, for the fans and followers of the icon wishing him well, there's finally some good news on the ex-F1 driver's condition. According to a recent report by German publication, Bravo, Schumacher is said to be "not bedridden or surviving on tubes" any longer. Instead, the Benetton, Ferrari and Mercedes driver is said to be moved to a clinic in Dallas, Texas that specialises in treating brain injuries. The ace driver will turn 50 on January 3, 2019.

Mahindra Racing has kickstarted the 2018-19 Formula E Season 5 with a bang, taking a podium in the season opener. Mahindra's Jerome d'Ambrosio finished third in the Ad Diriyah e-Prix competing in the Gen2 electric race car. BMW i Andretti Autosport's Antonio Felix da Costa won the season opener, while reigning champion Jean Eric-Vergne of Techeetah took second place on the podium. Jawa Motorcycles Open First Dealerships In Pune
Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. revived the Jawa brand last month with three motorcycles and the company has now opened its first dealerships in the country before deliveries begin next year. Jawa Motorcycles' first two dealerships are located in the city of Pune at Baner and Chinchwad respectively, and are the first of the 105 outlets set to open by early next year. At the time of launch, the company had said that all of its 105 showrooms will be 3S facilities comprising sales, service and spares. With the outlets becoming fully operational, customers in Pune can now book and test-ride the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two motorcycles, the company said in a statement.

2019 Yamaha Saluto RX 110, Saluto 125 UBS launched in India at Rs 52,000
Yamaha Motor India has introduced the 2019 editions of the Saluto RX 110 and Saluto 125 motorcycles in the country. The 2019 Yamaha Saluto RX 110 is priced at Rs. 52,000, while the 2019 Yamaha Saluto 125 is priced at Rs. 59,800 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Both commuter offerings comes with new graphics and paint options, but most importantly get the Unified Braking System (UBS). The new UBS unit is Yamaha's version of the combined braking system (CBS) that applies the front and the rear brake together for more controlled stopping power. The feature will be mandatory on all two-wheelers below 125 cc starting April 2019, as per the government regulations.

Okinawa i-Praise Electric Scooter Pre-Bookings Announced In India
Electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Scooters has announced the pre-bookings for its upcoming i-Praise e-scooter. The new Okinawa i-Praise can be booked at a token amount of Rs. 5000 at any of the company's 200-odd dealerships starting on December 14, 2018. The i-Praise is the manufacturer's new version based on the Okinawa Praise scooter and now comes with a detachable lithium-ion battery. Okinawa says the new battery system brings more convenience for users who can now detach and charge the battery at their homes, with the charging time reduced to 2-3 hours.

TVS Rolls Out 50,000th BMW G 310 Series Motorcycle From India Plant
The first product to come from the BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company Collaboration was the G 310 platform and the company has achieved a production milestone of 50,000 for the new motorcycles. TVS announced that the company has rolled out the 50,000th unit of the BMW 310 cc motorcycle from its Hosur plant. The motorcycle was rolled out in the presence of Dr. Markus Schramm, Head of BMW Motorrad, and Mr. KN Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company. TVS-BMW produce three motorcycles based on the 310 cc platform including the BMW G 310 R, BMW G 310 GS and the TVS Apache RR 310. The 50,000th motorcycle to rollout is a G 310 R.

Following the launch in November, MotoRoyale has added a new assembly line at its Ahmednagar based facility in Maharashtra, where the FB Mondial HPS 300 will be assembled. Mumbai-based Jehan Daruvala will be competing in the newly launched FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2019. The young racer has been signed by Italy's Team Prema and will be joining Marcus Armstrong as part of the team's three car line-up. Prema is yet to announce its third driver in the series. Mick Schumacher, son of legendary Michael Schumacher is also a part of the Prema Racing family. The new FIA F3 championship replaces GP3 as a Formula 3 support series starting next year. Aravind KP has been announced as fourth rider to join the Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team for Dakar 2019. Aravind's name has been announced after the rider recovered completely from his injuries sustained in the PanAfrica Rally earlier this year. In his third outing at Dakar, the 33-year-old joins Michael and Adrien Metge as well as Enduro Champion Lorenzo Santolino at Sherco TVS.
