The Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 will be the successor to the Scram 411 and will be based on the upcoming 450cc platform. Test mules of the motorcycle have been spotted a few times, but not much is known about the new design and mechanicals of the bike.
The official launch of the Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 is likely to happen by December 2024, making it one of the last bikes to release on the 450cc platform in India considering RE's current portfolio. As the name suggests, the bike will be powered by the newly-developed 450cc engine that will make its debut in the Himalayan 450. While other details about the powertrain are unknown, the motorcycle will be built around a new frame and equipped with features including USDs, wire-spoke wheels, and a fully-digital instrument cluster to name a few.
The motorcycle is expected to compete against the likes of the Yezdi Scrambler, Honda CB350RS, and Benelli Leoncino 500.
