VinFast VF9

VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, showcased its VF 9 electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in India. This model serves as VinFast's flagship SUV globally. While the VF 9 was unveiled alongside other models like the VF 6 and VF 7—both confirmed for an India launch—the company has not yet announced a launch timeline for the VF 9 in the Indian market.

Design and Features:

• Exterior: The VF 9 is a large SUV measuring over 5 meters in length. It features angular headlamps with VinFast's signature DRLs converging in a 'V' shape. The profile showcases clean lines and large wheel arches, contributing to its imposing appearance. The rear is equipped with a lightbar similar to the front DRLs, nearly covering the entire width of the vehicle.

• Interior: The cabin offers a minimalist design with a floating touchscreen infotainment system. Features include a 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a 15.6-inch infotainment system, a head-up display, ambient lighting, a panoramic fixed glass roof, and wireless charging. Safety features encompass 11 airbags, ISOFIX mounts, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS). The top-spec model rides on 21-inch alloy wheels.

Performance:

• Powertrain: The VF 9 is available in two variants—Eco and Plus—both powered by a 123 kWh battery pack. It features a dual electric motor setup with all-wheel drive (AWD), delivering 402 bhp and 620 Nm of torque.

• Range and Acceleration: The SUV offers a claimed range of 531 km per charge. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km/h.
