- Unlike the larger VF7, the VF6 does not offer an all-wheel drive variant (is strictly FWD).
- Overall height (1,580 mm) and crossover silhouette make it look more compact and rounded unlike traditional upright SUV rivals.

Verdict
The VinFast VF6 is an attractive, compact all-rounder in the Indian electric SUV space. By packaging a robust 59.6 kWh LFP battery, punchy 200+ bhp front-wheel-drive motor, class-leading 2,730 mm wheelbase, and 190 mm ground clearance into a stylish crossover footprint, it aims to deliver segment-above performance and everyday family utility.
Girish Karkera said, “The VF6 doesn’t dazzle you with its design or performance, unlike some of its peers on sale in India, but it offers the option of a no-nonsense vehicle that can be a practical alternative to gas-guzzling versions of its ilk.”
While its heavy two-tonne mass and lack of AWD keep it focused purely on regular driving chores, its nice balance of cabin space, range, and equipment positions it as an all-rounder against the likes of the Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra XUV400.
