VinFast VF7

Introduction

• VinFast debuted in India with two electric SUVs at the Bharat Mobility Expo in 2025.
• The Vietnam-based EV maker however launched the VF7 and the VF6 in September 2025.
• The VF7 is a five-seater EV with a crossover design.
• Buyers get several ownership benefits including free charging until the end of July 2028.
• Then, there's a 10-year or two lakh kilometre warranty for the VF7.
• Moreover, the carmaker promises complimentary maintenance for the first three years.

• The Vinfast VF7 sports all LED lighting including split headlamps, wraparound taillamps, and a full width lightbar.
• Other notable design elements include a shark-fin antenna and a roof spoiler.
• Lest we forget, it also features the flush-fitting door handles that are trending these days.
• There are two wheel size options to choose from, 19-inch in the Eco variant and 20-inch in the Plus variant.

• The VF7's cabin features a dual-tone interior design with blending brown and black elements.
• It is a big car, but a crossover meant to accommodate five passengers.
• The Eco variant of the VF7 offers a 12.9-inch infotainment screen.
• On the other hand, the Plus variant is equipped with a larger 15-inch display.
• However, both variants come with a head-up display, over-the-air updates, ADAS, and a panoramic sunroof.

Powertrain

• The VinFast VF7 'Eco' variant has a single electric motor producing 201bhp and 310Nm of torque.
• Meanwhile the Plus variant comes with dual motors with a combined output of 349bhp and 500Nm of torque.
• Both variants of the VF7 get a 75.3kWh battery pack.
• While the Eco variant has a range of 450km, the Plus variant can cover 431km on a single charge (WLTP cycle).
