Tata Curvv EV

Expanding the Tata electric vehicle (EV) lineup, the Curvv is all set to be the next battery-powered launch from the Indian carmaker. First showcased in concept form in 2022, the Tata Curvv has slowly inched towards being production ready, and is set to be launched by the middle of 2024. The Curvv will be the second Tata EV to be based on the company’s ‘acti.ev’ dedicated EV platform after the Punch, and will also be the largest Tata EV yet – at least until the Harrier EV is launched, later this year.

The production Curvv EV will be roughly 4.3 metres long, 1.8 metres wide and 1.6 metres tall, with a wheelbase of over 2.5 metres. It is also expected to have a 422-litre boot, along with limited ‘frunk’ space. While the final specifications of the Curvv EV remain under wraps, it’s expected that it will have a range of 400 to 500 kilometres, enabled by the new, more space-efficient platform. Tata has also specified the new architecture can accommodate single- and dual-motor layouts, both of which may be offered with the Curvv EV
