The Team Prema driver secured the victory after a dominant driver through the second race of the weekend on Sunday, making it back-to-back wins for Prema after teammate Robert Shwartzman secured an unconventional first ever FIA Formula 3 race win on Saturday. Desert Storm 2019: Aabhishek Mishra, Adrian Metge Strengthen Lead; Gaurav Gill Drops To P8 On Day 3
The third day of the 2019 Desert Storm saw a number of drivers move up the order while several fan favourites struggling to keep pace during the lengthy stage. Cementing his lead from yesterday, Aabhishek Mishra with co-driver Srikanth Gowda of Team Sparky Garage held on to the lead in the Xtreme category finishing Special Stage 6 (SS6) in 02h49m49s driving the Maruti Suzuki Vitara. Meanwhile, Samrat Yadav with co-driver Kunal Kashyap moved up the leaderboard to finish the day in second place in 03h00m44s. Mishra's teammate Capt. AVS Gill with Diwakar Kalia finished the day in third place 03h03m01s, solidifying the team's position in the rally.

Royal Enfield Meteor Nameplate Could Be Revived; Trademarked In Europe
Royal Enfield has an aggressive strategy in place to expand in the middleweight motorcycle segment (250-750 cc) globally. While the RE 650 Twins are already here, there will be newer motorcycles in tow and needless to say, the bikes will harp back to the company's illustrious history. The Chennai-based bike maker does seem to be looking into something similar for its next launch and has trademarked the 'Meteor' nameplate in Europe, hinting at resurrecting the moniker for a future offering. RE's parent company Eicher Motors has applied for European trademark rights to the name 'Royal Enfield Meteor' and has asked permissions for the title to be used on 'motorcycles and parts and fittings therefore' as well as on clothing.

Triumph Rocket 3 TFC Breaks Cover With World's Largest Engine On A Production Motorcycle
It wasn't until recently that we realised we needed a behemoth motorcycle in our garage. But it wasn't until recently either that Triumph Motorcycles pulled the veil off the new Rocket III TFC. Brought to life by the 'Triumph Factory Custom' special works division at Hinckley, the Triumph Rocket 3 TFC is as wild as the British get and features the world's largest engine on a production motorcycle. The new Rocket 3 TFC will have a limited production run of 750 units, of which 225 units of these big bad cruisers will make their way to the US, while the rest will make their way to other parts of the world. There's no word yet on how many models will be coming to India.

After securing a DNF in Argentina last month, reigning world champion Marc Marquez took a dominant win in the 2019 MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez. The Honda rider took his second win of the season, beating pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo of Petronas Yamaha who became the youngest rider to take pole position in the history of MotoGP. Interestingly, the position was previously held by Marquez. 2020 Dakar Rally Route Details In Saudi Arabia Announced
The Dakar Rally will be moving to Saudi Arabia in 2020 in a massive move for the motorsport series, having spent a decade in the dunes and mountains of South America. While the announcement to move the Dakar Rally arrived earlier this month, organisers ASO have now presented the route for the 2020 Dakar that takes place for the first time in Asia. The next edition of Dakar will commence on January 5, 2020 in Jeddah, the capital of Saudi Arabia, before concluding on January 17 in Al-Qiddiya after 12 stages and over 9,000 km of running. A rest day is planned for January 11 in Riyadh.

F1: Valtteri Bottas To Start Azerbaijan GP On Pole; Leclerc Crashes In Q2
Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas will be starting the 2019 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in pole position snatching the lead from teammate Lewis Hamilton. It will be a front-row lockout for Mercedes in Baku, followed by Sebastian Vettel of Scuderia Ferrari in third place. Bottas lapped the circuit in 1m40.995s, 0.059s faster than Hamilton while Vettel lapped 0.302s behind Bottas. Teammate Charles Leclerc crashed out in Q2 after having a promising run during the practice sessions.

The deadline for manufacturers to meet the new BS6 emission regulations is set for March 31, 2020, and the big challenge for manufacturers and dealers will be to clear off the existing inventory of BS4 vehicles before the stipulated date.
