Italjet is an Italian premium two-wheeler brand that was founded in the year 1959 by Leopoldo Tartarini, an accomplished racing driver and visionary. Its headquartered in Castel San Pietro Terme, near Bologna, Italy. 

Italjet's philosophy is driven by radical mechanical design, high levels of innovation, and a performance DNA that revolves around pushing technical boundaries. 

What made it popular worldwide were engineering breakthroughs like the Independent Steering System (I.S.S.) and the aggressive, exposed trellis frame. 

Currently, this motorcycle maker builds exclusive, hyper-performance machines, like for example, its iconic Dragster series which brings together the best of supersport motorcycles and performance scooters. 

Italjet revealed plans to enter the Indian market by teaming up with Motohaus India using their local assembly at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. To start with, the brand will debut its performance scooters like the Dragster 300, Dragster 459, and the Dragster 700.
