We have just returned from Lavasa, Maharashtra, after riding the new Mahindra Gusto 125, a.k.a. G108, while trying to figure out how different it is from its sibling, or from the competition.

First revealed in January this year, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) has launched the new Gusto 125 scooter in South India as part of its first phase of sales. Prices for the scooter start at 50,680 (ex-showroom, Karnataka) for the base DX variant and will also be sold in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Developed completely in-house at the bike maker's R&D Centre in Pune, the Gusto 125 is based on the same frame as the Gusto 110, but gets a newly developed engine along with a host of other upgrades.

Mechanically, the Mahindra Gusto 125 uses a 124.6cc M-TEC engine with MCDi technology that now produces 8.5bhp of power at 7000rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. The slightly more powerful Gusto also gets telescopic front forks and hydraulic shocks at the rear, while stopping power comes from 130mm front and rear drum brakes. A front disc brake equipped version is said to be in the pipeline. Compared to the Gusto 110, the new version also gets 12-inch alloy wheels. Other features remain standard on the Mahindra Gusto 125 including LED pilot lamps, folding key, height adjustable seat, find-me lamp among other bits. Differentiating the model will be the four new colours from the Gusto 110 including Orange Rush, Bolt While, Monarch Black and Regal Red.

Best bike mahindra gusto 125

I used too many bikes but after riding on mahindra gusto u can forget your rides u had before.its very comfortable and friendly to use.it has powerful engine , with very less noise. I'm satisfied with it's milleage as compare to other bikes in its competition.ground clearance is very well, gripping on road is strong.im in Love with looks of this bike.headlight and tail light indicators designed very nicely.i planning to purchasing this one so I do research on it like its Price and service provided by mahindra to their customer is satisfying.overall this is genuine bike and brand. I had read an article related to this on cartechnewz.com some time ago.
