Introducing its second offering for 2019, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe. The new model completed the C-Class line-up in the country joining the sedan and cabriolet versions that were launched last year. It is also the latest of the Mercedes AMG cars to grade the Indian market. The 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe is priced at Rs. 75 lakh (ex-showroom), and remains a practical and fast offering for those looking at a fun-to-drive while attracting the right kind of attention. The C43 Coupe is also the best looking C of the range and also the most distinctive in its looks with the coupe roofline. 

Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe Design

The face is identical to the regular Mercedes-AMG C 43 sports sedan. It gets the same AMG radiator grille with twin louvre finished in matte iridium silver. The bumper gets wider air intakes on either side and the high-vision LED headlamps as standard. Buyers can also spend more and opt for the latest AMG styling package to put on a front splitter, broad side skirts and a bulgier rear diffuser and make it look a bit more dramatic. The coupe roofline remains the distinctive design element on the C43 Coupe with the swooping line naturally meeting the boot. The AMG GT inspired rear on the C43 is just beautiful with the wraparound taillights, lip spoiler and twin exhausts. The car also looks wider from the rear. The 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels complement the coupe. 

Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe Features

In terms of features, the AMG C43 Coupe gets multi-beam LED headlights, 18-inch, five-spoke AMG alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. The cabin gets AMG sports seats with red seatbelts and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with COMAND interface along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The instrument console is a wide 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with three display styles- Classic, Sport and Supersport. The upholstery is draped in Artico handmade leather or Dinamica microfibre finished in black with contrast dual-stitching. The three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel too is wrapped in Napa leather and sports touch control buttons. The C43 Coupe may be a two-door but comes with rear seats sporting a 2+2 layout and a very useful 400 litre boot capacity. The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe also comes with the AMG ‘Ride Control’ suspension that gets three modes - Comfort, Sport and Sport+. There are also five Dynamic Select drive modes including Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Slippery and Individual. 

Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe Engine Specs

The 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe specs are powerful with the model powered by the 3.0-litre V6 engine that belts out 385 bhp, 23 bhp more than its predecessor. Peak torque output stands at a hefty 520 Nm. The engine is paired with a 9G Tronic automatic transmission coupled with a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive transmission. The AWD unit though is 69 per cent rear biased. The new C43 Coupe can clock triple-digit speed in 4.7 seconds and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph.
