Introduction

• Skoda Auto India has unveiled the updated Slavia facelift and commenced the pre-bookings.
• The refreshed mid-size sedan has received most of the styling and equipment upgrades from the recently introduced on the Kushaq facelift.
• The vehicle is available in six distinct variants: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and the top-spec Monte Carlo.
• The updated Slavia will continue to compete strongly with the likes of the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, and the Hyundai Verna.

How is the exterior of the Skoda Slavia?

• The updated model will get a redesigned bumper, a revised air dam, and refreshed headlamps which are complemented by updated LED DRLs alongside LED fog lamps.
• The rear profile looks sharp with fresh LED taillights with dynamic sequential turn indicators, and a reprofiled rear bumper.
• The side profile is accentuated by newly styled 16-inch alloy wheels that complement sharp bodylines.
• The sedan will be offered in ten exterior colour options, including two brand-new colours: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, alongside Shimla Green, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Steel Grey, Lava Blue, Deep Black, and Cherry Red.
• Further, an exclusive dual-tone exterior finish will be offered exclusively in the flagship Monte Carlo variant.

How is the interior of the Skoda Slavia?

• The cabin is highlighted by a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.1-inch fully digital Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster with customisable display layouts.
• The sedan will also get a segment-first addition, built-in massaging function for the rear seats.
• The front occupants will benefit from electrically adjustable and ventilated seats.
• For convenience, this model also offers a high-resolution 360-degree surround-view camera.

What powertrain option is available in the Skoda Slavia?

• The updated Slavia will retain the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, generating 114 bhp and 178 Nm of peak torque.
• Transmission options for the 1.0-litre unit include a standard six-speed manual gearbox and an all-new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
• The sedan is also available with a 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine which generates 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
• The 1.5-litre engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) transmission.
