UM Motorcycles Renegade Commando Expert Review
How is the design of UM Renegade Commando ?
The UM Renegade Commando gets a rugged and aggressive design template with matte finishing for the whole body and the signature white star on the fuel tank as well. The mid-range cruiser’s star is a correlation or indicator of the U.S. or American military. The matte finish aside, there is a round headlamp in front along with two indicators placed just below the same. Handlebars have higher positioning while the long tank has a speedometer which is not usually found in many other bike models. There is a segregated seating arrangment for the pillion and rider with the former positioned slightly higher than the latter. The front forks are big and footpegs are placed forward too. The rear has a big tail light cluster with a big rear mudguard which is in sync with the large body.
How does the UM Renegade Commando ride?
The UM Renegade Commando rides well with its great pickup and its powerful engine. The bike can tackle potholes and bumps without going into unsettling territory. Braking power is adequate and the bike presents itself as a classic highway cruiser with all the desired elements that are required for this purpose.
How comfortable is UM Renegade Commando ?
The UM Renegade Commando is a comfortable bike to use on a regular basis with an excellent suspension system for company. All bikes from UM have the same components, namely the conventional front forks, dual cradle chassis and rear hydraulic shock absorbers. The setup ensures pliant ride quality while the bike absorbs almost everything with ease. The UM Renegade Commando is on the lighter side which aids overall manueverability. Although a dual seater, the rear seat may not always be the most comfortable for long highway rides.
How’s the tech?
The UM Renegade Commando comes with an analogue speedometer mounted upon the fuel tank along with a fully digital display setup, neutral gear indicator, trip meter, blue dials, halogen headlamp and pillion backrest among other key features.
How’s the mileage of UM Renegade Commando ?
The UM Renegade Commando offers 35 kilometres per litre in terms of mileage.
How is the performance of UM Renegade Commando ?

It comes with a water cooled 279 cc single cylinder engine that churns out 24.8 BHP of maximum power and 23 Nm of peak torque. It also gets the 6-speed synchromesh gearbox along with the 41 mm hydraulic telescope front and twin hydraulic with spring type rear suspension sytems.

The UM Renegade Commando offers good value for cruiser aficionados, looking for a bike with decent power, good performance, attractive styling and comfortable riding quality in tandem with attractive features. The pricing is also quite competitive for the UM Renegade Commando.
