Yet another cruiser bike from American based motorcycle firm, UM made its grand debut in India at the 2016 Auto Expo.Commando as it is called gets a rugged treatment dominated by matte finish on the entire body. One of the highlights of the outer styling is the conspicuous white star on the fuel tank. For power generation UM has employed the same engine that does duty on the Sport S model outputting similar power and torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a synchromesh transmission.
Coming from the US bike maker, the mid-range cruiser gets a white star on the fuel tank which correlates with American military. The matte finish on the body reinforces its dapper & raw look. Up front are a round head lamp and two indicators placed just beneath it. Handle bars are positioned high and the long tank features speedometer, something that is usually not found in other bikes. There is a segregate seating arrangement for rider and pillion with the latter placed a tad high than former. Front forks are massive and foot pegs are set forward. Rear gets a large tail lamp cluster and a large rear mudguard that falls in line with the massive body.
