- Piaggio India launched the 2025 line-up of Vespa range of 125cc scooters in late 2024.
- The updates to these scooters include changes to styling, colours, and even features.
- All Vespas look identical in design and share same cycle parts.
- However, there are small changes that set them apart.
- For example, out of the four, the Vespa and the Vespa S are the more affordable variants.
- On the other hand, the Vespa Tech and the Vespa S Tech are the top-end models.
Features and Equipment
- On the design front, the Vespa Tech and the Vespa S Tech get revised styling and some new features.
- The latter incorporate a five-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth integration and keyless ignition.
- Also special paint schemes differentiate them from the base variants.
Engine and Gearbox
- The Vespa 125 continues to be powered by a 125cc petrol engine.
- This single-cylinder unit has received a marginal power bump.
- It's now rated at 9.5bhp at 7,100rpm and 10.1Nm torque at 5600rpm.
- The CVT gearbox has received some minor changes as well.
