Largely known for its range affordable scooters, Taiwan's KYMCO has revealed the SuperNEX Electric superbike concept at the 2018 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. The concept motorcycle does come as quite a surprise, especially since KYMCO is not known for performance offerings as such. Nevertheless, the SuperNEX concept aims to change that with its stunning looks and delectable performance numbers. The manufacturer though hasn't revealed complete details or a confirmation production timeline for the electric concept motorcycle.

EICMA 2018: Kawasaki Z400 Revealed
An expected debut, Kawasaki has revealed the 2019 Z400 naked motorcycle at the 2018 EICMA Show in Italy. The new Kawasaki Z400 is the stripped version of the Ninja 400, minus the fairing, clip-on handlebars and the aggressive riding position. What you get instead is the same powerful engine and chassis as the Ninja 400, with minimal body panels. Globally, the new Z400 replaces the Z300 in the bike maker's line-up and will compete against the KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03 and the likes.

EICMA 2018: Royal Enfield Concept KX Design Study Revealed
After teasing it over a week, Royal Enfield has pulled the wraps off the Concept KX motorcycle at the 2018 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. The Royal Enfield Concept KX is a design study and takes inspiration from the 1938 Royal Enfield that was powered by an 1140 cc V-Twin engine and was the largest displacement motorcycle from the manufacturer at the time. The Concept KX though remains a one-off prototype for now with no plans of production, but we could see the design evolve and influence Royal Enfield motorcycles in the future, including a high displacement V-Twin powered model.

EICMA 2018: 2019 Honda CBR500R, CB500X and CB500F Unveiled
Honda has unveiled the 2019 range of 500 cc motorcycles - the Honda CBR500R, Honda CB500X and the Honda CB500F at the 2018 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. The three bikes share the same underpinnings but are very different in purpose and appeal, and have been updated with improved components and styling. The bikes continue to draw power from the 471 cc twin-cylinder engine with 47 bhp on offer, while low and mid-range torque output has improved by 4 per cent, improving acceleration across the range.

The Mahindra Alturas G4 SUV will mark the Indian automaker's entry in the premium SUV segment and the model is all set to be launched in the country on November 24, 2018. Mahindra's most expensive offering yet, the Alturas G4 is a hotly anticipated product and we now have more details emerging about the all-new SUV. Keeping a premium position for the model, the Mahindra Alturas G4 will be offered only in n automatic avatar at the time of launch and there won't be a manual option. Mahindra Alturas G4 Bookings Open, Launch Date Announced
The Mahindra Alturas G4 is the automaker's upcoming flagship SUV and bookings have now begun for the offering ahead of its launch on November 24, 2018. Dealerships across the country have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs. 50,000, while deliveries will commence by the end of this month, soon after the launch. The 'Alturas G4' is the name of the production-spec SUV, which was internally known as the Y400, and what was largely speculated to be called the XUV700 across the internet. The Alturas G4 moniker also diverts from Mahindra's strategy to have nameplates with the name ending with an 'O'. While Mahindra is yet to reveal prices on the Alturas, an aggressive strategy is expected from the company with the SUV carrying a price tag starting at Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

EICMA 2018: 2019 Ducati Multistrada 950 S Revealed
Ducati has unveiled its 2019 motorcycle line-up ahead of the 2018 EICMA Motorcycle Show starting today, including the likes of the Panigale V4 R, XDiavel 1260, Monster 821 Stealth Edition and more. Bringing the adventure quotient to the model range though is the updated 2019 Ducati Multistrada 950 S that was also unveiled at the special night. The Multistrada 950 S, as the name suggests is an uprated and improved version of the middleweight adventure-touring motorcycle with additional features including a lot of electronic wizardry. Much like the rest of the range, the new 950 S will be making its way to India next year, replacing the current model.

MotoGP: Rossi Crashes In The Lead As Marquez Takes Win At Malaysian GP
2018 MotoGP champion Marc Marquez of Honda took his ninth win of the season in the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit. The win though was handed to him after long-time leader Yamaha's Valentino Rossi crashed. Finishing on the podium were Suzuki's Alex Rins 1.8s behind Marquez, while Tech3 Yamaha's Johann Zarco finished third 2.4s off the race leader, having started the race on pole. Marquez, meanwhile, started sixth, having been handed a six-place drop for impeding Andrea Iannone in qualifying, after securing his 80th career pole position.

MotoGP: Alex Rins' Suzuki GSX-RR Detroyed In Pit Lane Fire
In a mishap, the Suzuki GSX-RR MotoGP machine belonging to Alex Rins was destroyed in a pit lane fire ahead of this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix. The incident occurred at the Sepang International Circuit when the mechanics were warming the bike in the Suzuki Ecstar pits this afternoon. The bike caught fire after the fuel overflow pipe accidentally sprayed fuel onto the hot exhaust when the team was doing their customary post-built start-up earlier today. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but the bike was severely damaged in the fire.

Suzuki GSX-S750, GSX-R1000R Recalled In India For Fuel Pump Issue
Suzuki Motorcycle India has recalled the GSX-S750 and GSX-R1000R superbikes in the country for fuel leaks. The recall has been announced In-line with the manufacturer's global recall for the GSX-S750, GSX-R1000R and the V-Strom 650 XT pertaining to the same issue. In the US, Suzuki has recalled a total of 6928 units of the motorcycles according to the documents filed with the NHTSA. The newly launched V-Strom 650 XT though remains unaffected in India, the company said in a statement.

Upcoming Jawa 300 Motorcycle Spotted Testing Ahead Of Unveil Next Month
Czech motorcycle brand Jawa is all set to make its comeback to the Indian market and the bike maker has earmarked November 15, 2018, as its big day. Ahead of the official unveil next month, the first test mule of Jawa's upcoming 300 motorcycle has been spied on road and it does keep the retro body very much intact, under all that camouflage. While little is known about the motorcycle including its name, Jawa has revealed details on the engine that will power the new motorcycle. It is likely that there will be more than one bike powered by the 300 cc engine from the brand.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Pre-Bookings Open In India
India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) continues its aggressive expansion of the product line-up in the country and has commenced accepting bookings for the ZX-6R supersport motorcycle. Dealers across the country are accepting bookings for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R for a token amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh, between October 31 and November 30, 2018; while the launch is expected around December this year. Deliveries for the new Ninja ZX-6R though will only start by January 2019. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R will be coming to the country as a Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) unit, and will be brought in limited numbers. The company, however, has not revealed the number of units that have been allocated for India.

TVS Racing's R Nataraj has been crowned as the 2018 Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) after a spectacular finish. The team won the championship in four out of five categories, dominating with its performance throughout the season. Having announced his retirement from MotoGP at the end of this season, Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa has announced he will be joining KTM as a test rider in 2019. The 31-time MotoGP race winner has signed a two-year deal with the Austrian manufacturer, which his first move outside Honda, having spent his entire career with the Japanese team. Pedrosa retired from the sport after spending 13 years and becoming one of the most respected riders across the grid.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 ABS Launched In Gun Metal Grey Shade
Having launched the Classic 350 Signals Edition with Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS), Royal Enfield is now rolling out the safety feature on the standard variants of the Classic 350 as well. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey has now been updated with ABS at a price of Rs. 1.80 lakh (on-road), and is expected to be available in other colours as well soon. Much like the Signals Edition, the Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey ABS gets a dual-channel unit. Royal Enfield had previously said that it will be updating its entire model range by early range with the safety feature, in-line with the government's deadline of April 1, 2019, for ABS on bikes above 125 cc.
