About BMW R 1200 RS
The BMW R 1200 RS is one of the most popular bikes in the sport-touring category and is also backed by a legacy of having started the segment with the original R 100 RS in 1976. The R 1200 RS is intended to give you the agility and performance attributes of a sportbike, without having to live with the drawbacks. You can look forward to spending long hours in the saddle. It competes in a segment that has offerings from Kawasaki and Ducati, but the BMW R 1200 RS retains its character with the 1170 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine. The motor is tuned to produce 123 bhp of power at 7750 rpm and 125 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. Standard equipment on the R 1200 RS includes BMW Motorrad ABS, Automatic Stability Control and Multiple Riding Modes. Imported as a CBU, the BMW R 1200 RS is priced at Rs. 15.90 lakh for the standard version and Rs. 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Dyamic+ variant.
