Imposing looks. V8 engine. And a badge to send a chill down your spine. That is the all-new BMW X5 M Competition. We recently got to drive it in India and here's the full review.
We have already brought you an extensive review of the new 4th generation BMW X5 from its global drive in Atlanta, USA a few months ago. Now we test the car in India and tell you where it stands in our market context.
After its international launch in 1999, the BMW X5 is now all set to enter the Indian market. BMW has given the X5 a huge makeover, both interior and exterior, before launching it here. The X5 comes with two engine options: the petrol 4.4-litre V8 and the 3.0-litre straight six diesel. The 8-speed automatic gearbox works like a charm. The new X5 is undoubtedly a car to look forward to!
Unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, the updated X5 will finally be launched in tomorrow i.e. May 29. While bookings for the car has already begun, deliveries will commence from the first week of June.
