Hero Xoom 125

Introduction

• The Hero Xoom 125 was launched in India in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
• This scooter's design is a welcome departure from Hero’s previous scooters.
• With a modern and attractive design, it quite appealing to target the youth.
• It goes up against the TVS Ntorq 125 and the Suzuki Avenis.

Features & Equipment

• Apart from the Xoom 125’s design being sporty and youthful, the scooter is feature-equipped as well.
• The sharp front apron incorporates LED lights with scroll-style turn indicators.
• As for its silhouette, the sides are sleek, and the tail section looks neat.
• The Xoom 125 features an under-bone frame with a telescopic fork and a mono-shock.
• Notably, a first in the 125cc segment is that this scooter rides on 14-inch wheels.
• As for the tyres, it has a 110-section front and a 120-section rear.
• Other highlights include an illuminated start switch and an LCD instrument cluster, which provides readouts for a lot of information.
• The latter includes average fuel consumption, distance-to-empty, along with the usual speed, distance, and the fuel gauge.

Engine & Gearbox

• The Xoom 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
• This motor produces 9.8bhp at 7,250rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
• As for the gearbox, this engine comes mated to a CVT transmission.
• Moreover, Hero claims the Xoom 125 can sprint from 0-60kmph in 7.6 seconds.
