The new model from the Indian Motorcycles combines classic styling and modern technology. Deriving its name from its hometown, it offers a good mix of looks, power and features. Engine powering the prowess is a Thunder Stroke 111 engine making 138.9Nm of torque at 2600rpm. The premium cruiser sports a host of features including cruise control, electronic fuel gauge with real time fuel economy display.
Belonging to the iconic Indian Motorcycles clan, the new model in the India line-up has an aggressive stance sporting edgy design elements and a powerful engine providing it strength to take on the tough roads. Apart from looks, it also arms a host of tech adding to its credibility. In the domestic market, Springfield price falls in the range of Rs 31.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram), making it one of the most expensive bikes in the country.

Verdict
Now discontinued, the Springfield was one of the large cruiser Indian sold here. This motorcycle has been developed for long distance touring and this is why the V-Twin thunderstroke engine has excellent torque spread. The seats are extremely comfortable and the presence of large windscreen makes sure the rider isn’t a victim of heavy crosswinds. But the brand lacks the reach in India. Plus, it doesn’t have much sales and service reach.
