Verdict

The Indian Scout Bobber is a very, very good-looking motorcycle - period! It's a head turner for sure and has enough performance to make your weekend rides very enjoyable indeed. It's more of an "around town" bike, and perfect for the Sunday morning breakfast ride, or the occasional coffee run to meet up with your biker buddies. You could do the occasional long weekend, but the aggressive riding position and the stiff suspension may tire you out over a full day of riding.

How is the design of Indian Scout Bobber?

One cannot ignore an Indian Scout Bobber for its style and impressive look on the road. The bodywork has a blackout premium finish from fender to fender including the exhaust, engine crankcase cover, handlebar, and air filter covers. The iconic bar-end mirrors of Bobber streamline the silhouette. The bold block lettering of the tank badge, the new cowl for the headlamp, and the new alloy design make the bad boy look aggressive and eye-catching. It is available in some wonderful colour shades and a bolder build. The bike comes as a solo seater but offers an option for backrest and pillion seats. The lowered rear suspension, changed footpeg position and the street tracker handlebars give the cruiser a low-slung profile.

How does the Indian Scout Bobber ride?

The Indian Scout Bobber offers precise feedback to riders. The well-balanced chassis gives you a comfortable ride, though the cornering is limited due to the lower ground clearance. The single disc, two-piston front brake setup along with abs offers a surprising amount of power to the bike as well as full braking control. The clutch, gearbox and throttle of the cruiser offer a light and easy handle experience. But with the 50mm rear suspension travel, the motorcycle crashes over big bumps.

How comfortable is Indian Scout Bobber?

It is a medium-sized motorcycle that gets your feet down on the ground and stops within a short space.  The low slung, all leather style seat offers an aggressive riding position without compromising comfort. A hidden USB port is available for the rider to charge mobile devices and the ABS allows them to stop at any point without pressure.

How’s the tech?

The chassis of the cruiser remains the same as its predecessor. You get a change in the dimensions and some of the features. The dimension of Indian Scout Bobber is 2324 mm in length, 916 mm in width, and 1068 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1562 mm, seat height is lowered to 649 mm, and a low ground clearance of 123 mm. The kerb weight of the cruiser is 255 kg and is more than most of its rival bikes. The gauges in the bike are a digital tachometer, odometer, trip meter, engine temp, and low fuel lamp. The standard equipment is a low profile two-toned solo seat, bobbed fenders, and hidden USB charging port. The lights in the bike are headlight, tail or brake light, turn signals, license plate light, speedometer, and indicator lights.

How’s the mileage of Indian Scout Bobber?

The claimed mileage of the Indian Scout Bobber is 25 kmpl and it varies with the riding conditions. You get a 12.5 L fuel tank and great acceleration with the power delivery..

How is the performance of Indian Scout Bobber?

Indian Scout Bobber gets its power from the liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that offers a smooth power delivery. It provides a maximum power of 94 bhp @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 97 Nm @ 5600 rpm when mated with the Six-speed transmission gearbox. The engine with an electronic fuel injection delivery system produces class-leading horsepower and great acceleration.

Is the Indian Scout Bobbergood value for money?

Yes, Indian Scout Bobber is a good value for money. It not only has a powerful personality but also is super fun to ride. The old school design of the bike mixed with the modern-day performance gives a total right package to the owner. Though you get a solo seat, there remains an option of getting a rear seat as well. The excellent handling and trustworthy quality of the Scout Bobber will impress you every time you ride on it.
