India Bike Week 2017: Indian Scout Bobber Launched At Rs. 12.99 Lakh

- The Scout Bobber gets the same engine as the standard Indian Scout
- In essence, the Scout Bobber is stripped-down version of the Scout
- Bookings for the Scout Bobber have commenced for Rs. 50,000
Indian Motorcycles has finally launched the Scout Bobber in India at Rs. 12.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Scout Bobber is essentially the same as the standard Scout, but gets a sexier, evocative design. The Indian is shod with knobbly tyres, chopped fenders, flat-track style handlebar, leather seats and all of it wrapped in dark shades and blacked out bits. The tyres actually lend solid muscle to the overall look of the bike. The headlamp is surrounded by a chrome nacelle while the alloy wheels have been blacked out as well. The footpegs of the bike have been re-positioned to offer a tad more committed riding posture, which goes with the overall theme of the bike.

The power comes from a liquid-cooled V-twin engine that makes around 99 bhp and 97.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. The mechanicals remain the same as the regular Scout. The company has already started taking bookings for the Indian Scout Bobber for Rs. 50,000.
