Cabin Layout and Quality

Kia offers the Syros EV in seven personas: HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTK+ ER, HTX ER, HTX+ ER, and X-Line ER.

The 42 kWh battery has an MIDC-certified range of 443 km, while the 51.4 kWh battery has around 526 km. Kia offers early adopters a lifetime battery warranty of 15 years and unlimited kilometres for the initial owner. Subsequent owners get 8 years or 1,60,000 kilometres. As for fast charging, the battery can replenish from 10% to 80% in 39 minutes with a 100 kW DC charger. At the same time, an 11 kW AC home wallbox charger fully tops up the 42 kWh battery in approximately 4 hours, while the 51.4 kWh pack takes about 4 hours and 50 minutes.

It pairs the 42 kWh battery with creature comforts like the 30-inch display panel, 16-inch aero alloy wheels, cruise control, and a rear-view camera. You get a full feature suite without needing to pay extra for intercity range.

Best Value Overall: HTX ER (51.4 kWh)

At Rs. 17.99 Lakh (ex-showroom), the HTX ER is usually considered the most well-rounded variant. Upgrading to this trim unlocks the larger 51.4 kWh battery with a 526 km claimed range and the punchier 169 bhp motor that makes highway sprints more fun. You also get the dual-pane panoramic sunroof and highly practical sliding rear seats for long family road trips.

Best Fully Loaded Package: X-Line ER

The X-Line ER tops out at Rs. 19.99 Lakh (ex-showroom), but justifies its price tag by offering segment-first luxury. It comes fully stacked with the 16-feature Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging, all-row seat ventilation, and a digital key.
