Introduction

• The MG Windsor EV is a modern electric car designed for daily use without the hassle of visiting a fuel pump.

Exterior

• Unlike an open grille in traditional cars, the Windsor gets a clean, mostly closed panel.
• This is so because electric cars do not require much air for cooling.
• A light-up MG logo sits in the middle of the nose, and just above or around it runs a wide strip of LED lighting.
• The strip stretches across the car, forming a continuous ‘light bar’ for DRLs.
• Its main headlights are bigger LED units placed lower down in the front bumper.
• This positioning gives the EV a two-layered face, a slim light strip on top, and chunkier lamps below.
• From the side, the roofline gently curves from front to rear without any sudden drops.
• This gives it a capsule like appearance as the panels are free of heavy creases as well.
• The Windsor EV’s door handles sit flush with the body for better aerodynamics and pop out when needed.
• It comes with large 18‑inch alloy wheels that have a more “closed” design.
• Framed by subtly flared wheel arches and dark plastic cladding around the lower edges, protects the body from scrapes.
• The rear is also very rounded, with a softly curved tailgate and bumper rather than an upright, boxy back.

• The Windsor’s ‘Aero-Lounge’ seats are nicely padded and can recline up to 135 degrees, making long rides more relaxing.
• It has a spacious cabin with dual-tone ivory interiors and premium soft-touch materials with classy gold highlights.
• A digital 8.8-inch driver display and a massive 15.6-inch infotainment screen provides all information including battery charge status and range.
• Its panoramic glass roof adds to the airy and open feel inside the cabin, letting in natural light.

Powertrain

• A Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motorthat powers the Windsor EV is quite efficient and smooth.
• It a power output of 135.8bhp and 200Nm of torque.
• The Windsor EV is offered in two battery capacities - a 38kWh and a bigger 52.9kWh.
• Charging the battery can be done at home with traditional 15A chargers or even through higher capacity public DC units.
• The bigger battery takes about 9.5 hours to fully charge on a regular charger and just 50 minutes on a fast charger.
