Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

Introduction

• Mahindra launched the new XUV 3XO EV in January 2026, with prices starting at Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
• This EV is based on the brand's updated sub-four-metre 3XO.
• The latter is a compact SUV, and now the XUV 3XO replaces the outgoing XUV400 EV.
• It joins the BE6, XEV 9e, and the XEV 9S in Mahindra's electric lineup.

• Compared to its ICE sibling, the 3XO, the EV boasts many stand-out elements.
• This includes rose gold inserts for the grille instead of the standard chrome inserts.
• The EV rides on new 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
• LED fog lights, EV charging port on the left front fender, and an EV badge on the tailgate are the other exterior highlights.
• Another thing to point out is that the red coloured EV gets exclusive red inserts for the air dam.

• Inside, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is identical to the 3XO sibling.
• As a result, it's way ahead than the outgoing XUV400, modern, and replete with features.
• This includes Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, 65W Type-C charging port, front parking assist, and a panoramic sunroof.
• Other features include an auto-dimming IRVM and a glove box with illumination and cooling functions.
• Moreover, the 3XO comes equipped with a seven-speaker Harman Kardon music system with Dolby Atmos.
• Interestingly, it even gets soft touch leatherette trims on the dashboard and doors.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV's Powertrain

• The 2026 XUV 3XO is backed by a 39.4kWh battery pack.
• It comes paired with a single electric motor powering the front wheels.
• This powertrain has a power output of 147bhp and 310 Nm of torque.
• Mahindra claims the 3XO EV will deliver a range of 285km on a single charge.
• It is offered in two variants, including AX5 and AX7L.
• Also, a 7.2kW charger is optional and can be availed at an additional cost of Rs. 50,000.
