Tata Tigor EV Expert Review
Tata Motors is the manufacturer of an electric vehicle known as the Tata Tigor EV. It was first introduced to the Indian market in January of 2017. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 135 kilometres per hour and has a range of 212 kilometres on a single charge. There are two distinct variations of it available: the Standard variation and the Long-Range variation.
How is the Design?
The Tata Tigor EV is a compact sedan that was developed with the Indian market in mind as the primary user base. The inside and exterior of the vehicle both have a highly contemporary look and feel, and the overall design is quite comparable to that of the Tata Tiago. However, the Tigor EV may be distinguished from its sister by a number of nuances that have been included into its design. For example, the Tigor EV has a grille that is a little bit different, and the headlamps also have a different form. In addition to this, the automobile boasts distinctive alloy wheels, which make it stand out from the crowd.
How does it perform?
The Tata Tigor electric vehicle has a solid performance overall. It has a range of around 110 kilometres when fully charged, which is more than sufficient for the majority of people's journeys each day. Even though it takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery, it is still doable despite the fact that it is not the quickest car to charge up.
Even on extended drives, the car drives smoothly and provides a comfortable ride for the driver. When travelling at high speeds, the sole drawback is that the inside can get rather loud. This is especially noticeable when changing lanes. Aside from that, the Tata Tigor EV is an excellent choice for individuals who are searching for an electric vehicle that will not blow their budget.
What’s the range
The Tata Tigor EV has a decent driving range for an electric vehicle. On a single charge, it has the potential to go for up to 213 kilometres. The firm has also made the announcement that it will soon be releasing a fast charger, which will contribute to the reduction of the amount of time required for charging.
How’s the Driving Experience?
When it comes to electric vehicles, the driving experience can vary greatly depending on the model. However, we can say that driving the Tata Tigor EV is a very smooth and enjoyable experience. The car is extremely quiet, so you won't hear any engine noise while you're driving. Additionally, the acceleration is instant and linear, so you won't feel any jerks or jolts as you're accelerating. We think that anyone would enjoy driving this car, whether they're used to driving gasoline-powered cars or not.
What’s the interior like?
The cabin of the Tata Tigor EV is roomy and thoughtfully designed, and it comes equipped with a wealth of features that improve both comfort and convenience. It is clear that the car was developed with the requirements of the Indian buyer in mind because of the way it looks. Every passenger has sufficient space for their legs and heads, and the seats themselves are extremely comfortable. The cabin has enough of natural light and is airy, both of which contribute to the positive experience of being within. In addition to that, there is a generous quantity of storage space, which is provided in the form of cubbyholes and pockets. The cabin of the Tata Tigor EV is, all things considered, a really nice and comfortable environment to be in.
Tech and infotainment
The Tata Tigor EV comes with a host of advanced tech and infotainment features that make it a great choice for those looking for a sophisticated and feature-rich EV.
The 7-inch touchscreen display is one of the highlights of the Tigor EV, allowing drivers to easily access a range of functions and information. The system is also compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you can stay connected on the go.
Other notable tech features include an 8-speaker audio system, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera. For infotainment, there's an FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and two USB ports.

And be sure to keep an eye out for pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles when backing up or making turns.
