New Mahindra Bolero Spied Testing Again; Provides Clearer Look At The SUV's Design

- Latest images provide a clearer look at the new Bolero's design
- Expected to sit on a new platform
- Looks to retain sub-four metre proportions of the current Bolero & Bolero Neo
New images of the next-generation Mahindra Bolero have surfaced, providing the clearest look yet at the upcoming SUV’s design. Expected to debut as a near-production concept on August 15, 2025, the new Bolero is expected to replace the current Bolero Neo in Mahindra’s line-up, with the standard Bolero likely to soldier on.

The latest spy photos provide an up-close look at the SUV’s boxy proportions, along with revealing some of the finer design details. Up front, the fascia is very upright with a high-set grille flanked by round projector headlamps. A closed-off panel below the grille gives the fascia a layered look while additional openings lower down form a large central air vent. The bumper design is quite squared off as well and houses the turn signals close to the outer edges.
Other details visible include the clamshell design bonnet and pronounced flares around the wheel arches in a throwback to the standard Bolero. In profile, the new Bolero does look to share some stylistic similarities with the current Neo with its upright stance and the shape of the windowline. The body lines, however, appear to be a lot softer than the current Neo, and the rear haunches, as seen in previous images, are a lot more pronounced, giving the car a Defender-like look from the rear.

Overall, the new Bolero looks to retain the sub-four metre proportions of the current gen models with the space wheel continuing to feature on the tailgate. The rear overhang is also very shallow.
Details of the interior remain under wraps, though the new Bolero does get grab handles on the A- and B-pillars.

Speaking of the platform, the new Bolero is likely to be underpinned by an all-new platform. Mahindra has said that it will be unveiling an all-new platform on August 15, which could underpin the production-ready SUV when it arrives in the Indian market.
