MG M9 EV

Introduction 

• The MG M9 EV is an electric MPV positioned as a luxury seven-seater.  

• It is aimed at buyers who seek a chauffeur-focused experience with the conveniences of an electric vehicle.  

• A highlight of the M9 EV is that it drove MG to become the second-highest luxury EV maker in India by October 2025. 

• This MPV delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 548km on a single charge.

MG M9 EV – Exterior 

• The M9 EV’s front features a split LED lighting, slim DRLs that double as turn indicators, and a clean, upright design. 

• In its side, it has a long, straight shoulder line, chrome detailing, and sliding rear doors.  

• This car boasts 19-inch alloy wheels shod with self-sealing tyres.  

• Its rear design includes a roof-integrated spoiler with a stop lamp, a rear wiper, and chrome accents on the slim bumper. 

MG M9 EV – Interior 

• The M9 EV has a seven-seater layout that focuses heavily on the middle row. 

• It includes captain seats in the second row, and these are available with heating, ventilation, massage, and ottoman support.  

• Adding on, the boss mode allows the rear passenger to move the front passenger seat forward to maximise legroom. 

• On the tech side, it gets a dual-screen being a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 7.0-inch driver’s display.  

• This infotainment touchscreen supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.  

• MG offers the M9 EV with a 13-speaker JBL sound system for a premium audio-experience.  

• Other features include ambient lighting, digital IRVM, triple-zone climate control, multiple A-type and C-type charging ports, dual sunroofs, and more.

MG M9 EV – Powertrain 

• The M9 EV is powered by a front-mounted electric motor paired with a 90kWh battery pack. 

• This setup delivers a power output of 245bhp and 350Nm of torque.  

• Using a 11kW AC charger takes about 11 hours to charge fully charge the M9 EV.  

• On the other hand, using a 160kW DC fast charger can charge the MPV from zero per cent to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.
