The new entrant in the Moto Guzzi India’s line-up is available in two versions- and Roamer. Built on the same platform, these are primarily same with some minor differences. Belonging to the V9 Bobber nameplate, the city cruisers use transversely mounted 850cc engine mated to a six-speed transmission.
Priced alike at Rs 13.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), and Roamer share a lot in common with frivolous differences. As claimed by the Piaggio-owned motorcycle giant, Roamer is a successor to the Nevada line of cruisers and sports 16-inch front wheel, taller handle-bars and larger rear fender as opposed to the which gets lowered hand bars, 16 inch alloy wheels etc. Mechanically, they are identical deriving power from the same 850cc engine, mated to a six-speed unit.
Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Engine Specifications & Transmission
The transversely mounted 850cc, twin cylinder, euro 4 engine produces maximum power of 55bhp and 62Nm of peak torque. Power is directed to the rear wheel through a shaft and it gets a six-speed gearbox for handling transmission duties.

Both the bikes come equipped with advanced tech including anti-lock-braking system, engine immobiliser, adjustable traction control and a USB port.

The Roamer gets larger 16-inch alloy wheels as compared to which comes equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels.
