Taking cues from the Cross Polo, Toyota took the sedate looking Etios Liva, put it on a steroid cycle, slapped on a lot of SUV-ish bits and brought in the Etios Cross. Basically think of it as the rough and ready version of the road going Liva. Which it isn't.

Toyota India unveiled the much anticipated Etios Cross at the recently concluded 2014 Auto Expo, with a promise to launch the vehicle in May 2014.

Toyota has issued five separate recalls that cover 6.39 million vehicles. The cars that are part of this recall are manufactured between 2004 and 2013 and a total of 27 models sold all around the world are affected by various mechanical and electronic issues, making it the second-largest recall in the automaker's history.
