The First Generation – Used Hyundai i10 PA, 2007
In 2007, on 31st October, the first generation i10 came into the picture. There are five versions: D-Lite, Asta with a 1.2L Kappa engine and 1.1L iDREZ engine, Era, Sportz, and Magna. The versions come with airbags (4 in number), front electric windows, ABS, CD player, radio, and AC. The higher version has a start and stop system. In addition, the i10 has headlamps with the pulled-back feature, air dam, fog lamps, and a swept kink.
The tailgate has a boot release handle with an overall length of 3565 mm, and the wheelbase measures 2380 mm. The design is ergonomic, so even a tall driver can fit easily and rear kneeroom is also good. The interior gets a plastic dash and optional integrated stereo. In September 2010, the vehicle got its facelift and introduced the Fluidic Sculpture design for the front end. The Hyundai i10 iRDE launched with a 1.1 litre 65 bhp engine and the i10 Kappa 1.2 which has a 1.1 litre version. There is also a CRDi version of the diesel engine available.
The second Generation – Used Hyundai i10 IA/BA, 2013
In 2013, the i10 was redesigned, and it was 80 mm longer, 65 mm wider, and 50 mm lower as compared to the previous model. The new uplift had more boot space as well. Some of the prominent features included the following:
- Curtain airbags.
- Daytime running lights.
- Hill start assist.
- A tire pressure monitor system with cruise control.
- Heated steering.
- Rear parking sensor.
- 15-inch alloy wheels.
The Third Generation- Used Hyundai AC3/AI3, 2019
The 3rd generation debuted as the Grand i10 Nios in 2019. It was codenamed the AI3, and was longer than the previous generation. The i10 3rd-generation model was launched as the Grand i10 Nios, and it has ten variants in both petrol and diesel avatars, with automatic and manual transmission systems. The car has a 1.2 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.2 liter turbocharged 3-cylinder diesel engine.
