The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line has officially launched in India as a premium performance-oriented SUV, priced at Rs.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This model introduces the new-generation Tiguan with an added sporty edge under the R-Line badge. It is offered in a single, top-spec fully loaded variant and is brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), ensuring premium build quality and exclusivity in the segment.

At the heart of the Tiguan R-Line is a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine, producing over 200 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. The SUV comes with Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system, delivering superior traction and handling on a variety of road conditions, making it suitable for both urban drives and occasional rough terrains.

The R-Line variant is distinguished by its sporty exterior enhancements, including unique R-Line badging, blacked-out elements, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a more aggressive bumper design.
