Aston Martin Vantage

The Aston Martin Vantage is the entry level sportscar offering from the iconic British sportscar and supercar maker. The Aston Martin Vantage in its second generation is now much sharper and more distinct in terms of design and although it does loose its timeless touches from the last gen, this new design language still is incredibly pretty. The new Aston Martin Vantage has only been launched in a coupe bodystyle so far and the coupe is available in India at a price of Rs 2.95 Crore (ex-showroom), which of course is without added options or special colour and interior packages.

The Aston Martin Vantage gets a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that has been sourced via Mercedes-Benz and is essentially the exact same engine used by Mercedes-AMG in the likes of the AMG GT sports car. In fact, most of the Vantage parts have been borrowed from the Mercedes-AMG GT range. The engine makes 503 bhp of peak power and produces 685 Nm of peak torque and offers a rear wheel drive only setup along with an eight-speed automatic dual clutch gearbox. The Aston Martin Vantage, like any Aston, sounds absolutely wonderful especially with the sports exhaust system added to the mix.

In terms of overall design, as we already mentioned, the Aston Martin Vantage gets the brand new Aston design language, which is a lot more aggressive and a lot more modern as compared to older more classic Astons of the past. The massive front grille is complemented by a large aero splitter up front while at the rear you get a set of iconic tail lamps that run from end to end. The Aston Martin Vantage also gets the typically Aston wide rear fenders and a swooping roofline, all of which looks extremely sexy. On the inside, the new Aston Martin Vantage is well appointed with optional carbonfibre and a range of interior colour options.
