Bajaj Avenger Street 220 Specifications

Recent type approval documents filed with the Delhi Transport Department list the variant, suggesting that it could relaunch yet again.

Bajaj Auto has announced prices for the 2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and Cruise 220 motorcycles, both of which are priced at Rs. 93,466 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2018 Avenger 220 get comprehensive upgrades over its predecessor sporting LED DRLs, new digital console and new insignia as well. The Bajaj Avenger Street 150 though gets no changes for the new year and continues to be lesser selling model in the cruiser line-up.

The Bajaj Avenger range is set to get a overhaul soon and will be introduced with a tonne of upgrades. Now ahead of its official unveil, images of the 2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 have been leaked online revealing all the changes on the cruiser. While retaining its quintessential design, the updated Avenger Street 220 gets a tonne of styling changes and new features too for a more modern appeal.

We told you last week that Bajaj Auto is in the process of updating its complete model range to the proposed BSIV emissions norms for the 2017 model year. While it was expected that the Pune based automaker will announce the new BSIV 2017 Pulsar range first, the company has chosen otherwise and has announced the new Avenger series that are now compliant with BSIV norms.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 150 is now available in the new Cosmic Red shade along with the existing Midnight Blue priced at Rs. 75,500; whereas the Avenger Street 220 now gets Matte Wild Green shade alongside the Matte Black colour scheme priced at Rs. 85,497 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
