After a somewhat successful debut of the all-electric i3, now it's the turn of the brand-shaping i8 sports hybrid. The car aims to be green, but more importantly it wants to take pole position as BMW's newest and most compelling sports car. Yes a green supercar if you will.
The delivery of the BMW i8 will commence from June this year and the European markets will be among the first to see them on the road. While production of the i8 is set to start in April, the company had started taking pre-orders for the car ever since mid 2013.
BMW has stumped us as it will be the first manufacturer worldwide to offer a production vehicle equipped with headlamps featuring the laser light concept.
