The Kawasaki KLX 110 is a 110 cc mini dirt bike which could be the stepping stone for young riders who are looking to pursue dirt biking seriously. The KLX 110 is particularly designed for youngsters above 13 years of age and the dirt bike can handle rider weight of up to 70 kg. These of course are meant to be ridden on trails and off-road surfaces and are not road legal. This means that you cannot ride on public roads and city roads. The Kawasaki KLX 110 gets new and revised styling which means that the shrouds, fuel tank, side panels and fenders are new and have been re-designed. Also, it has been re-modelled on Kawasaki’s flagship motocross race bike, the KX 450. The factory styling of the Kawasaki KLX 110 gives the bike a proper motocross look and feel.
The 2019 Kawasaki KLX 110 gets a 112 cc single-cylinder engine which has been thoroughly revised and gets a 4-speed gearbox. The valve timings have been revised and the bike now offers more torque in lower revs. The carburettor settings have been revised to match the increase in power and offer more stable performance when riding on tough terrain. The 4-speed gearbox gets a centrifugal clutch which offers smoother gearshifts on the move.
The suspension has been updated on the Kawasaki KLX 110 as well which offers better bottoming performance and better control on trails and off-road terrain. The dirt bike also gets better ergonomics which can accommodate a wider range of riders. Kawasaki is also offering kick start on the KLX 110 that works in conjuction with the intake valve on the engine. The design for the brake pedal and the gear-shift pedal has revised as well, offering easier operation when on the move. The engine starter/kill switch is positioned on the left switchgear console making for easier throttle operation and easier to start/stop the engine as and when required.
