Volvo V40 Latest Update

Known for the modish Scandinavian design tenet, the car gets new additions such as the redesigned waterfall grille, the full LED Thor’s Hammer headlights and the restyled wheels. Inside, it gets a choice between three different leather trims and a bunch of tech like the power operated front seats, interior air quality system, personal car communicator with keyless entry & drive, fixed panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth & USB enabled audio system, gear shift paddles, park assist pilot with park assist in front & rear and rear parking camera. Safety provisions on the new Volvo V40 include world’s first pedestrian airbag, safety cage, 2-stage front airbags with drivers knee bag, pretensioners for front seats, dynamic stability & traction control, emergency brake assist with ABS, side impact protection and whiplash protection. The Volvo V40 hatchback shares its design, engines and features with the Cross Country. On the exterior, the V40 hatch features daytime running LEDs, auto-bending headlights, vertical tail-lamp stack and new alloy wheels just like the Cross Country. The cabin, too, looks quite identical to the V40 Cross Country with features such as adaptive digital display, powered front seats, leather seats, etc. Powering both the base and R-Design variants is the same engine, 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel, that does duty on the V40 cross country. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, this engine churns out a maximum power output of 150bhp and 350Nm of peak torque.
