Launched: Volvo V40 Hatchback at Rs. 24.75 Lakh

The Volvo V40 hatchback shares its design, engines and features with the Cross Country. On the exterior, the V40 hatch features daytime running LEDs, auto-bending headlights, vertical tail-lamp stack, 16-inch alloy wheels just like the Cross Country. The cabin, too, looks quite identical to the V40 Cross Country with features such as adaptive digital display, powered front seats, leather seats, etc.

Powering both the base and R-Design variants is the same engine, 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel, that does duty on the V40 cross country. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, this engine churns out a maximum power output of 150bhp and 350Nm of peak torque.
