Established in 1927, Volvo Car Corporation is a Swedish premium automobile manufacturer now owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group of China. Headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, Volvo is known for manufacturing luxury vehicles including sports utility vehicles, sedans, compact executive sedans, coupes and station wagons. 1n 1999, Ford Motor Company bought Volvo Cars from AB Volvo before it was finally acquired by Geely Holding Group in 2010.
