Each new generation would be increasingly affordable, helping the company work towards its mission: to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transport. Tesla currently has three models in its range of all electric cars and will soon launch its most affordable offering ‘Model 3’. The electric manufacturer is evaluating options to foray into Indian market with Model 3, while the EV is expected to go into production by 2018, India launch will reportedly be scheduled for mid 2019.
