Tata Altroz To Be Offered With Customisation Packages From The Factory
The production-spec Tata Altroz has been officially unveiled and we have driven it too and will be sharing our review of the car on December 9, 2019 at 9 am. Crayon Envy Electric Scooter Launched In India
Uttarakhand-based Crayon Motors is the newest entrant in the electric two-wheeler segment and has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its flagship Envy e-scooter in India. The new Crayon Envy joins the Zeez e-scooter that is already on sale and promises to offer best-in-class space, easy manoeuvrability and long-range. The new offering is part of the brand's low-speed range of scooters and has a top speed restricted below 25 kmph. The manufacturer is yet to announce the pricing for the new model.

Revolt RV400 Electric Motorcycle Deliveries Begin In Pune
Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler maker Revolt IntelliCorp has announced the commencement of deliveries of the RV400 motorcycle in Pune, Maharashtra. This is the second city where the company has begun deliveries of the electric motorcycle and customers will be handed the bikes as per the booking sequence from the two Revolt Hubs in Kalyani Nagar, and ICC Tech Park, S.B.Road. This, of course, is the first batch of the Revolt RV400 in Pune with the bookings made at the time of launch in August this year.

F1: Lewis Hamilton Cruises To The Last Win Of The Season In Abu Dhabi GP
Bringing an end to another dominant season, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton cruised his way to the chequered flag to win the 2019 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The reigning champion started the race in pole position and retained the lead through the race with Red Bull's Max Verstappen taking second, ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. The Abu Dhabi GP is Hamilton's 11th victory of the year and the 50th pole of his career. The driver also maintains Mercedes record of winning all races at Abu Dhabi since 2014.

Car Sales November 2019: Mahindra Sales Slip By 7 Per Cent
Mahindra & Mahindra announced its sales report for November 2019 and the automaker registered a seven per cent drop in total domestic sales (passenger + commercial) at 38,614 units, as opposed to 41,564 units sold during the same month last year. The company's exports also witnessed a decline of 26 per cent last month at 2621 units, down from 3537 units shipped in November 2018. In the passenger vehicles segment, the automaker reported a 10 per cent drop in volumes at 14,637 units last month, as against 16,188 units sold in November last year. The UV segment too registered a six per cent drop at 14,161 units, down from 15,049 units sold during the same month last year. The cars and vans segment (including EVs) saw 476 units sold in November, a drop of 58 per cent, as compared to 1139 units sold in November last year.

Car Sales November 2019: Tata Motors Sales Drop 25 Per Cent
Indian auto major Tata Motors reported a drop of 25 per cent in domestic sales at 38,057 units in November 2019. The automaker saw a sharp decline in volumes for passenger and commercial vehicles when compared to the 50,470 units sold during the same month last year. The automaker witnesses a constant decline in volumes despite a positive festive season, even as the auto sector has shown signs of recovery over the past month. In the passenger vehicle segment, Tata's volumes dropped to 10,400 units in November this year, a drop of 39 per cent over 16,982 units that were sold in November last year.

Car Sales November 2019: Hyundai Registers A Growth Of 2 Per Cent
Hyundai Motor India has announced a growth of two per cent in domestic sales for the month of November 2019. The South Korean auto giant sold 44,600 units last month, as opposed to 43,709 during the same month last year. Meanwhile, exports for the previous month saw a sharp incline in volumes with the company shipping 15,900 units, a growth of 25.2 per cent as opposed to 12,702 units exported in November 2018. Hyundai's total sales (domestic + exports) stood at 60,500 units in November this year, growing by 7.2 per cent over 56,411 units sold during the same month last year.

Car Sales November 2019: Volkswagen Registers 17 Per Cent Growth
Volkswagen India has announced that the company registered a growth of 17 per cent in domestic sales in November this year. The automaker's sales stood at 2937 units last month comprising all models, as opposed to 2501 units that were sold in November last year. The sales numbers are in the green for the German auto giant even as the auto sector continues to recover from what has been a dull year across different segments. That said, the volumes do witness a month-on-month drop since Volkswagen had registered a 19 per cent hike in sales figures in October this year back by the strong performance of the Polo and Vento models.

Car Sales November 2019: Maruti Suzuki Sales Decline By 3.2%
India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki has announced a 3.2 per cent drop in domestic sales volumes for November 2019. The manufacturer sold 141,400 units last month, lower than the previous year's sales result of 146,018 units. The automaker has witnessed a drop in sales once again after reports looked positive in October this year, backed by the festive season. That said, the compact segment with popular-selling products like the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Dzire, Swift and the likes showed strong signs of recovery and managed to register a growth of 7.6 per cent with 78,013 units sold, as against 72,533 units sold in November 2018.

Jaguar F-Pace SVR Coming To India; Dealers Accepting Bookings
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR made its global debut at the new 2018 New York Auto Show and the performance SUV has now been listed on the brand's Indian website, hinting at a launch soon. The F-Pace SVR has been engineered by JLR's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division and comes with a 44 per cent hike in power output over the standard model. carandbike has also learnt that select dealers are also accepting bookings for the new model with deliveries slated for 2020. The Jaguar F-Pace gets cosmetic tweaks to add to the menacing look of the SUV, along with improvements to the chassis and aerodynamics. First Tata Altroz Hatchback Rolls Off The Assembly Line; Launch In January 2020
Tata Motors has rolled out the first Altroz premium hatchback from its Chakan-based facility. The upcoming model will be launched in January this year and is the second offering to sport the new Impact 2.0 design language. The new Tata Altoz is the first model to be based on the new ALFA architecture and will take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and the Hyundai i20. The Altroz started life as the Tata 45X concept and was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. The near-production model was later revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year, and the production-spec version remains identical to the same.

BHU Students Win 2019 Shell Eco-Marathon With Best Mileage Of 387.9 Km/kWh
The second edition of the Shell Eco-Marathon was held in India recently that saw over 24 teams participating from across the country as part of the brand's 'Make The Future' initiative. The best and brightest minds from engineering colleges made their way to the Shell Technology Centre in Bangalore for the competition, and it was Team Averera from Indian Institute of Technology - Banaras Hindu University (BHU) that clocked the best mileage of 387.9 km/kWh.
