This is the second city where the company has begun deliveries of the electric motorcycle and customers will be handed the bikes as per the booking sequence from the two Revolt Hubs in Kalyani Nagar, and ICC Tech Park, S.B.Road. This, of course, is the first batch of the Revolt RV400 in Pune with the bookings made at the time of launch in August this year.

    Car Sales November 2019: Mahindra Sales Slip By 7 Per Cent

    Mahindra & Mahindra announced its sales report for November 2019 and the automaker registered a seven per cent drop in total domestic sales (passenger + commercial) at 38,614 units, as opposed to 41,564 units sold during the same month last year. The company's exports also witnessed a decline of 26 per cent last month at 2621 units, down from 3537 units shipped in November 2018. In the passenger vehicles segment, the automaker reported a 10 per cent drop in volumes at 14,637 units last month, as against 16,188 units sold in November last year. The UV segment too registered a six per cent drop at 14,161 units, down from 15,049 units sold during the same month last year. The cars and vans segment (including EVs) saw 476 units sold in November, a drop of 58 per cent, as compared to 1139 units sold in November last year.

    Indian auto major Tata Motors reported a drop of 25 per cent in domestic sales at 38,057 units in November 2019. The automaker saw a sharp decline in volumes for passenger and commercial vehicles when compared to the 50,470 units sold during the same month last year. The automaker witnesses a constant decline in volumes despite a positive festive season, even as the auto sector has shown signs of recovery over the past month. In the passenger vehicle segment, Tata's volumes dropped to 10,400 units in November this year, a drop of 39 per cent over 16,982 units that were sold in November last year.

    Hyundai Motor India has announced a growth of two per cent in domestic sales for the month of November 2019. The South Korean auto giant sold 44,600 units last month, as opposed to 43,709 during the same month last year. Meanwhile, exports for the previous month saw a sharp incline in volumes with the company shipping 15,900 units, a growth of 25.2 per cent as opposed to 12,702 units exported in November 2018. Hyundai's total sales (domestic + exports) stood at 60,500 units in November this year, growing by 7.2 per cent over 56,411 units sold during the same month last year.

    India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki has announced a 3.2 per cent drop in domestic sales volumes for November 2019. The manufacturer sold 141,400 units last month, lower than the previous year's sales result of 146,018 units. The automaker has witnessed a drop in sales once again after reports looked positive in October this year, backed by the festive season. That said, the compact segment with popular-selling products like the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Dzire, Swift and the likes showed strong signs of recovery and managed to register a growth of 7.6 per cent with 78,013 units sold, as against 72,533 units sold in November 2018.
