- This bike has a TFT console, three customizable ride modes, switchable ABS, traction control, cruise control, and a bi-directional quickshifter.
- Despite its 183 kg kerb weight, it does not feel top-heavy during low-speed manoeuvres/trail riding.
- The block-pattern tyres give you dependable traction across light trails, rocks, and loose terrain.

- It’s tall 880 mm seat height makes it challenging for shorter riders to reach the ground.

Verdict
The KTM 390 Adventure R is a hardcore off-road tool in the 390 lineup. The suspension hardware combined with the apt ground clearance, and 21-18 spoked wheel setup allow it to tackle rough trails with a lot more composure than its road-biased version.
While the towering 880 mm seat height and tube-type tyres are clear disadvantages, it is cheaper than the 390 Adventure S, while still offering true rally-inspired capability. This makes it a sweet deal for enthusiasts.
