Introduction

• The Grand Vitara is one of Maruti’s most versatile offerings.
• It features petrol, CNG, and hybrid engine options along with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
• Notably, the brand also offers an AWD version of the SUV.
• Launched in September 2022, the popular SUV has crossed more than three lakh unit sales.
• The SUV is offered in four variants including Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.

Exterior

• The Grand Vitara is bigger than the Brezza and looks as big as the competition.
• Though the SUV was slightly updated in 2025, there are no cosmetic changes.
• The SUV continues to ride on 17-inch alloy wheels, but pictures show the alloy pattern to be slightly altered.
• Exterior colour options remain unchanged.

Interior

• Inside the Vitara's cabin is a luxuriously appointed dashboard with modern features.
• The SUV, now in addition, gets a power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear door sunshades, LED cabin lighting, and an air purifier.
• An electronic parking brake is also available in the automatic variants.
• Notably, all variants of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara now get six airbags as standard.
• A panoramic sunroof is now available as an option from the lower-spec Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+ trims.
• The strong-hybrid Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants are the top-spec trims that continue to boast all the bells and whistles.

Powertrain

• The 2025 Grand Vitara comes with two powertrain options.
• First option is the one powered by a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol.
• Then, there's strong-hybrid with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor.
• This strong-hybrid powertrain can now be had from the Zeta+ variant onwards.
• Notably, the new mild-hybrid AWD automatic variant replaces the AWD MT trim.
