Gurugram-based Okinawa Autotech has introduced the new PraisePro electric scooter in the country, positioned below the flagship iPraise in the company's stable. The new Okinawa PraisePro is priced at Rs. 71,990 (ex-showroom, India), which makes it substantially cheaper than the flagship offering and more affordable in comparison. The manufacturer says that the PraisePro e-scooter promises a low running cost of 20 paise/km, which makes it substantially cheaper to run than a conventional ICE scooter. The new offering will lock horns against a number of 125 cc scooters including the Honda Grazia, TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Access 125 and the likes.

Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Autotech has announced that it had received 450 bookings for the upcoming Okinawa i-Praise electric scooter. The company has bagged the number of bookings in just 15 days with a strong demand from Tier II and Tier III cities. Bookings for the i-Praise commenced last month across the company's 200-odd dealerships pan India. Okinawa has received bookings from Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Nasik, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Ambala, Vishakhapatnam, as well as Mysore, Bulandshahar, Gorakhpur, Warangal, Trichy, Trissur among other cities. The new Okinawa i-Praise is scheduled to go on sale later this month and will come with a detachable lithium-ion battery as one of its major feature highlights.

Electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Scooters has announced the pre-bookings for its upcoming i-Praise e-scooter. The new Okinawa i-Praise can be booked at a token amount of Rs. 5000 at any of the company's 200-odd dealerships starting on December 14, 2018. The i-Praise is the manufacturer's new version based on the Okinawa Praise scooter and now comes with a detachable lithium-ion battery. Okinawa says the new battery system brings more convenience for users who can now detach and charge the battery at their homes, with the charging time reduced to 2-3 hours.

Okinawa Scooters will finally launch the Lithium-ion powered Praise electric scooter in September this year. The new Lithium-ion batteries are detachable units and capable of offering 80 per cent charge within 45 minutes.

Okinawa has announced the completion of a successful trip to Leh by its flagship e-Scooter Praise. With this, the company becomes the first electric two-wheeler brand to take its e-scooter to Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads.

Okinawa Scooters has received over 300 bookings for the all-new Okinawa Praise e-scooter. The scooter is the company flagship offering and come with a best-in-class range of 170-200 km on a full charge.

The new Praise e-Scooter is Okinawa's premium offering and it will be positioned above the Ridge. Bookings for the scooter have been going on from November 24, in all authorised Okinawa showrooms across India for a token of Rs. 2000.

The Okinawa Praise has been launched in India at Rs. 59,889 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the second e-scooter from Okinawa after the Ridge that was launched earlier in 2017. While the Ridge was more of a budget scooter, the Praise is more premium and offers better performance and features over its younger sibling. The scooter gets an LED light across the front apron with DRL, which surely makes it look impressive. You also get LED taillight and indicators at the rear.
