The 2024 Suzuki GSX-R1000R is expected to launch in May 2024. It has a 999.8 cc engine, 202 PS of power, and 117.6 Nm of torque. The bike will have advanced electronic rider aids, including adjustable traction control, an IMU, Motion Track ABS, and a bidirectional quickshifter. On the mechanical front, the 2024 model will largely remain unchanged, but it will get new colour options to give it fresh appeal.
Among the two fresh color options, the Glass Matte Mechanical Gray trim catches the eye with its sleek dual-tone black and gray bodywork, accentuated by red stripes and alloy wheels. On the other hand, the Metallic Matte Black and Glass Sparkle Black version offers a classic Suzuki appearance, featuring blue and white graphics and blue alloy wheels. Suzuki has retained the bike's original bodywork design, including a compact diamond-shaped headlamp, angular side fairings, a sculpted fuel tank, a sharp tail, and a robust exhaust canister.
Regarding the mechanical specifications of the 2024 GSX-R1000, it retains its potent 999cc water-cooled inline four-cylinder engine nestled within a diamond frame. This engine churns out 194.45bhp at 13,200 rpm and 117 Nm of torque at 10,800rpm, delivering impressive performance. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a six-speed transmission. Alongside this robust engine, a range of safety features is included, such as dual-channel ABS, ten-level traction control, low rpm assist, Suzuki easy start, ride-by-wire, launch control, a quick shifter, and three riding modes.
