The second generation Volvo XC90 has come after a long gap - 12 years since the first generation was launched. So, Volvo certainly had to work very hard to ensure that it got things right. At the very start let me say - it has.

The standard safety package in the all-new Volvo XC90 includes a world-first run-off road protection package. Addressing these common and complex situations will take Volvo Cars another step closer to its vision that no one will be killed or seriously injured in a new Volvo car by 2020.

The company has introduced a larger and more efficient multi-filter, CleanZone, in the cabin. Volvo says CleanZone keeps even the most microscopic, and hazardous fine dust particles from entering the car.
