The Ampere Magnus EX is an electric scooter boasting affordability, decent performance, good features and decent range. The Magnus EX comes with a removable battery pack with a claimed range of 80-100 km on a single charge. The Magnus EX is offered in a choice of three colours, and has claimed acceleration of 0 to 40 kmph in just 10 seconds. The Ampere Magnus LT is a variant of the Ampere Magnus, which is on sale along with Magnus EX, in India. It is priced at Rs. 93,900 (ex-showroom, India). The Ampere Magnus LT gets a 1.8 kWh lithium-ion battery which promises a claimed range of 81 km and a top speed of 45 kmph. The electric motor delivers power between 1500 to 1800 watts. It is a light scooter, with a kerb weight of 96 kg and has a maximum payload of 150 kg. The Magnus LT takes around 6 hours to be charged fully, with a regular charger.
It does get an LCD screen but misses out on Bluetooth connectivity. Other features include an LED headlight, side-stand sensor and a USB charger for your mobile phones.
