For this ride, we took the Yamaha FZ V3.0 FI through a varied Pune test loop — from city traffic around University Road and Wakad to the faster Mumbai–Bengaluru Highway stretch. The Pirangut–Lavasa section added tight corners and downhill braking, helping us understand how the bike behaves beyond everyday commuting.
The Yamaha FZ V3.0 FI keeps things simple, and that’s exactly what makes it work. At its core is a 149 cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that puts out around 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm, and when we ride it, the focus is clearly on smooth, easy performance rather than outright speed.
With the Yamaha FZ V3.0 FI 2019 update, the bike got sharper styling. The Yamaha FZ V3.0 FI facelift borrows heavily from the bigger FZ25, especially in the muscular tank, bold shrouds and a wider rear tyre, which really adds to its presence on the road.

- Few of the goods and bads of FZ version 3.04.0ABS [2019-2020](Petrol)Look of the Yamaha FZ version3.0 is very nice...I was very impressed and liked it too much when I saw this new model for the first time in showroom...And that's the only reason, without any confusion purchased it.....Pick up is low.... Running on rough roads is easy and smooth on this bike... On crossing 80 kmph it speeds up faster than other bikes of 150-160 cc range. Initial pick up is low compared to Apache and pulsar but after 80 plus it rocks... I easily drove it to 107kmph without giving it a full accelerater.... So definitely top speed could be upto 115kmph... Someday I will try and check it's top speed...Mileage before 1st service was 38kmph... After that I have not been able to check the mileage....
