Introduction
- Yamaha updated the MT15 in India in August 2025.
- It gets new colours to appeal to the younger audience and new features to up the value quotient.
- The Version 2.0 is priced at Rs. 1.69 lakh ex-showroom, while the DLX variant costs Rs. 1.8 lakh.
Features and Equipment
- Yamaha is offering the MT-15 in three new colours including the Vivid Violet Metallic, Metallic Silver Cyan, and Ice Storm.
- For 2025, the bike also gets a new colour TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
- It gets a uniquely styled bodywork under which is a Deltabox frame.
- This frame is suspended by a USD fork and monoshock.
- The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels painted in line with the colour scheme.
- Then, the braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake at the front and at the rear.

The engine is responsive, and the bike is quick to accelerate. It’s great for city traffic, and the handling is excellent. However, I feel the bike could have offered a bit more comfort. The seat is a bit hard for long-distance rides. In terms of safety features, I wish there were more advanced systems in place for better rider protection.
