The Next-Generation bike of 155cc Supersport that has Inherited R-DNA, is now available in India, manufactured by Yamaha. The Yamaha YZF-R15 version 3.0 has got a sharper look than its previous versions along with a wide range of updated features. Though it is not a good choice for long rides, its all-new dual-channel ABS feature is making it attractive. The beginner's sportbike has undergone several cosmetic updates and great handling as well as performance. It is available in three colour variants - Racing Blue, Darknight, and Thunder Grey.

This sport bike gets its energy from a 155cc LC4B SOHC FI engine of a BS-VI compliant and a 6-speed transmission gearbox. The max power generated by the engine is 18.3 bhp @ 10000 rpm and the peak torque produced is 14.1 Nm @ 8500 rpm. The sportbike gets variable valve actuation. In this case, the torque generated by the plain-speak is more than the rev range. The slipper assisted clutch helps the rider to have a light feel on the lever. The gearbox is sleek and precise.
